what a day for a day dream

it's around 6:30 at the crack of dawn, slighty chilly and the only noise you hear is your own footsteps.  ( my little bed and breadfast is still sleeping )

Zipping up my patagonia and going for a run with coco by the carmel ocean, feels like a day dream...  i love the feel of wet sand in my running shoes, the salty smell of the ocean, the sea breeze, being out of breath, watching coco run against the wind, and the only thing i can do is to keep breathing.

I have been slacking in the blogging! work's been keeping me away from thuzy.com...

So this weekend

• I had to forgo my dearest friends wedding in NC this weekend! ( a big regret )
• I am still doing well in the giving up social drinking! ( a total of 3 glasses of wine this weekend)
• Had guests in town Friday from Chicago.
• Saturday made new friends and a wonderful dinner with work. ( thanks for coming Chris )
• Sunday with the roomies, shopping with bff nik, then evening with Mr gatsby!

Aside from missing the wedding, i had an ok weekend!! How was your Weekend? 

GIVING up alcohol

yeah i think not! BUT here's something new I am testing...

- no social drinking for 2 months.  ( a glass of wine at dinner is ok )

So far, its been a whole week, it's friday and i am not going to have anything to drink!! I am not an alchi, but its very ambitious to go out around here without having a few... Either my friends are alchis or I have horrible self control? So wanna help me or join me on this little detox? 

my sunday confessions/affirmations

nothing to do with religion... but feels good to get things out in the open.

- Friday, got a Little too tipsy, wiped out in front of the whole bar but still kept it classy...

• "u g l y- you ain't got no alibi" is a terrible song to start in a bar...
• i was in a funk!
• and then turned into a pumpkin ( i am a morning person )

- Saturday, me and the girls did a pub crawl in the marina, and we were sober.

• i told an old geezer to get lost.
• i did lie fib about my relationship status to get out of an awkward pick up line/ he just wasn't my type ( going to bite me in the Arse later )   

- ( to some )...i actually behaved myself this weekend

positive affirmations...

- I lucked out in the good friends department, I am grateful to have such supportive, kind, virtuous good souls in my life to always keep me in check. thank you for your positive influence.

Because by practicing selflessness and generousness it gives me a purpose.

- matty, so good to catch up and looking forward to your visit. scott - Thank You for making such an effort, and coming over and being our boy. Olivia- way to go above and beyond the call of duty, I am soo looking forward to you and me time. chris- thanks for your support, and don't forget to have a little fun.
